EDUCATIONAL MINISTRY

At the First Congregational Church of Westminster, we offer weekly lessons on a rotating schedule. Each year revolves around a central theme, and every month, children explore a new Bible story related to that theme. They bring these stories to life through various creative mediums in our classrooms.

Our lessons are designed to be hands-on because we value the importance of learning through movement to help kids expend their energy. Activities may include cooking, puppetry, art projects, STEM challenges, and exploratory play. Once a month, children will enter a themed room where they uncover clues related to the story, working collaboratively as a team to find hidden treasures before receiving a prize.

We are committed to teaching through exploration, allowing children to unleash their imaginations during our engaging activities. Encouraging questions is key, and we ensure our lessons are presented in a child-friendly and easily understandable manner.

We wholeheartedly welcome everyone to our church, so come by and visit us! We would be thrilled to see you!
