Realm is an online ministry tool designed for real time connection. It helps our church connect with you and you connect with us. If you consider yourself part of this church family, you’ll love it. Realm allows you to manage your personal information and who is allowed to see it, control your giving, and keep in touch with the groups that matter to you.
What is Realm?
Realm is a powerful three-module online software that helps our church stay connected, organized, and efficient. Each module is designed to make life easier for both staff and congregation:
- Church Database Management – Our office uses Realm to securely maintain membership records, contact details, and vital church information, keeping everything accurate and accessible.
- Accounting – Realm simplifies church finances by keeping us current with labor laws, making bill payments easy, and giving the treasurer real-time access to financial reports and updates.
- Website Integration – Events and calendar updates are published to our church website the moment they are created in Realm, ensuring everyone always has the latest information at their fingertips.
With Realm, administration, finances, and communication flow seamlessly together—creating one simple, reliable system that strengthens our church community.

With Realm, you can interact with your small groups, RSVP to events, receive important updates, and even message other members—all from your phone or computer. No technical expertise needed. If you can navigate a website or use an app, you can use Realm.
Step 1: Getting Started – How to Sign Up
Every member of our church has a personal profile, making it easier to stay connected and engaged. Your profile is your hub for everything—from updating your contact info to participating in groups and events.
By keeping your details current, you’re helping our staff, ministry leaders, and fellow members stay connected and better support one another.
Your Profile Allows You To:
- Join small groups
- RSVP to events
- Track your giving history
- Update contact and family information
- Set your notification preferences
- Upload or change your family photo
Your Profile Includes:
- Contact Information: Name, address, email, and phone number
- Photo: So others can recognize you
- Family Details: List and manage your household members
- Personal Information: Birthday, marital status, and more
- Social Media Links: Connected accounts (optional)

Privacy Information & Settings
Your information is yours—always.
We’re committed to protecting your privacy. With Realm, you have full control over who can see your personal and contact information. Nothing is ever publicly searchable online, and all visible information is securely protected behind a login.
Keeping Your Info Up to Date:
You—and certain staff—can update your profile anytime. In some cases, group leaders may also update your contact details if you’ve made them visible to leaders.
Your privacy matters, and with Realm, you’re always in control.
Who Can See Your Information?
By default, only your group members, group leaders, and church staff can view your profile. You can choose to make your information more visible—or keep it more private—based on your comfort level.

- Contact Info: Name, address, phone numbers, and email
- Personal Info: Marital status, family position, member status, birthday, gender, allergy info, and skills
(Optional fields like birthday or allergies are only shared if you choose.) - Note: If you're a group leader or event host, some of your contact info may be visible regardless of your settings for event communication purposes.
Privacy Setting Options:
- Everyone: Like a church directory listing, anyone in the church can see what you’ve marked as visible to everyone.
- My Groups + Group Leaders + Church Staff (Default): Only people you interact with in church groups, group leaders, and staff can see your shared info.
- Group Leaders + Church Staff: Limits visibility to leaders and church staff only.
- Church Staff Only: Hides your profile from all other members. Only authorized church staff can view your info.
- Custom Privacy: Adjust visibility for each field individually when editing your profile or managing privacy settings.
- Family Privacy: A family member with a primary role (e.g., “Head” or “Spouse”) can manage privacy settings for others in the household and opt them into them into the directory.
